Kenmore Elite HE3t

I own a 18-year-old Kenmore front-load washer so I'm not sure this will apply, but here goes... My washer requires me to press and HOLD the start button for a few seconds before it will start. At that point the door will lock and the washer goes through its startup phase. I think that is a "safety feature' to keep from accidentally bumping the button and starting the washer. I have a Kenmore Elite he4t front load washer that was working fine and then we moved and now it stops washing midstream and flashes an F and a H. I have to pause and restart then it will stop washing again after a few minutes and flash the same codes again. I reset again and then it stops with 1 minute left and will not drain.

We experienced the same thing. I was able to restart and locate the noise to the water pump. After disassembling the water pump found the impeller shaft sliding out. For some reason this shaft will not stay in place. Had to order a complete pump assembly as the electric motor is not available.

the F code is a puwer outige. This is how to fix
Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle. Select
DRAIN & SPIN if there is excessive water in the washer.
Re-select cycle and press START. If the problem remains, call
for service.
This is what an HF code is.
"FH" (Water Inlet Problem--no water or insufficient water
supply)
Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle. Unplug
washer or disconnect power.
Check the following:
Are water faucets completely turned on?
Are screens at inlet hose connection to washer clogged?
Are water inlet hoses kinked?
Are water inlet hoses frozen?
Plug in washer or reconnect power. Re-select cycle and press
START. If the problem remains, call for service.

That is the code for a water inlet issue.  Meaning "no or insufficient water supply" according to the manual. It says to hit PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel cycle. Then unplug unit and check for:
Are faucets completely turned on? Are screens at the inlet hose connection to washer clogged? Are inlet hoses kinked? And last...Are inlet hoses frozen? After checking all those it says to plug back in, re-select cycle and press START. If problem still comes up call for service. I remember on another site someone had the same code coming up, all the inlet suggestions checked out OK and they had to call for service as it was something in the control panel/computer of the unit.

f6 communication error in ht emotor controll board, located in the lower left front of machine

check your water supply make sure that you have both hot and cold water on at all times. Pull the hoses off and see if the screens on the water valve in the back is clogged.

CHECK DRAIN HOSE coming from washer TO ENSURE WATER IS DRAINING PROPERLY down drain.

USUALLY YOU CAN RAISE DRAIN HOSE A LITTE AND RESET WASHER TO RINSE & SPIN F6 is caused by water not draining Fast Enough

I am getting an F35 code on the washer has anyone had this problem

Take the front panel off your washer. Inside the washer attached to the side you should find a manual that will help you with the error codes.
