If I understand correctly, you have a dual switch with one switch stacked above the other.

If this is not correct, add a comment and I will help further.

On each side of the switch are screws with different colors.
The brass screws show in photo above.
Sometimes these screws are dark-colored.
The brass screws are connected by a brass plate so both screws are the same thing.
Your black hot wire from breaker goes to the brass screws.

On the other side of the switch are two independent silver-colored screws.
If the screws on other side of switch are dark-colored, then the screws on opposite side are brass and not silver colored.
Your black wires going to Load (fan, light, motor) go to each of these screws.

Each switch receives the same power source through the brass-colored screws on one side of switch, but on the other side of the switch, each wire is independent as each switch controls a different Load.

We have a ceiling fan Apollo 52' Model 355-6788 but we don't have any instructions on how to put it up. Please send us instructions on how to do this.

On the remote part that goes inside the fan, it has five wire on it. One Red wire marked L goes to black switch wire from switch or Hot wire. Other Red wire goes to Net. wire from switch.or feed. Then you have A black, a blue & a white. They connect to wires from the fan. When finished connect turn light switch on, leave on & used remote control. Top left button controls the fan on/off. bottom left button controls light on/off.dimmer. There you go, all the know how to connect remote & fan/light up. Good Lucky.
P.S. You will need to buy a 9v battery for the remote, it doesn't come with it

HOW DO I CONNECT TO POWER SUPPLY? WHERE DO THE WIRES GO?

You posted under Intermatic EI210 countdown timer.
To confirm this is your product, open link below:
http://www.amazon.com/Intermatic-EI210-Electronic-Countdown-Minutes/dp/B001EE1J74
Manual with operation instructions appear on link below
http://www.intermatic.com/~/media/files/intermatic/products/instructions/timers/ei220w%20-%20english.ashx

EI210 replaces single-pole switch only.
Single pole switch is where 1 switch controls the Load (light, fan, motor)

To wire this timer:
1) Single-pole switch has 2 insulated wires and 1 bare ground wire.
2) Connect insulated switch wires to timer red wire and timer black wire, in either order for now.
3) Connect timer green wire to bare ground wire.
4) In back of electric box are white wire that are twisted together and covered with wire nut. Connect timer white wire to these wires. This will power electronics located inside the timer.
5) If electric box does not have white wires described above, then connect timer white wire to bare ground wire along with green wire.
6) Turn power ON. Press oval button. If indicator light turns ON, then timer is wired correctly. If indicator light does not come on, then reverse timer black wire and timer red wire.

Describe your how to install a ipp15-1l Problem

1) First of all you need to determine what device you are replacing. Single-pole or 3-way.
Add a comment any time

Remember you can also take advantage of fixya phone service, where expert speaks to you over the phone while you are installing device. This service is not free.

2) If you are replacing single-pole switch, that is where one switch controls the Load (light fan motor)
Here are instructions for installing ipp15-11 Motion switch for single-pole replacement.
Old switch has 2 insulated wires plus bare ground wire.
Ipp15 bare copper ground wire will connect to bare copper ground wire.

Separate switch wires for testing.
Use ordinary two prong tester, tape tester leads to wood sticks to keep hands away from power.
Turn power ON.
Test each wire to bare ground wire.
Tester lights up on Hot wire. This wire will connect to ipp15 screw marked BL black.
The other wire that came off switch will connect to ipp15 screw marked RD red
Hot wire is identified.
Located in back of box are white wires that are twisted together and covered with wire nut. Remove this nut.
Now test Hot wire to all other wires in box, excluding bare ground wire.
Tester lights up on neutral wires. ipp15 screw marked WH white connects to neutral wires.
If your box does not have neutral wire, then connect ipp15 WH white to bare ground wires.

4) If you are replacing 3-way switch, that is where 2 different switches control the same Load (light fan motor.
3-way switch has 3 insulated wires and a bare ground wire.
Note screw colors on old 3-way switch. Dark screw is the Load wire. The 2 brass screws are the travelers.
From the ipp15 instructions, it appears you will need Viza Coordinating Switch Remote plus a sensor device to accomplish the 3-way installation.
If you have both of these devices and want free written instructions, then add a comment and I will verbalize contents from the manual.
Also you can pay a fixya expert to talk over the phone.

I need instructions for wiring in replacing a dual burner switch on a CVE3400B cooktop. The replacement switch is different from the original. Do you have a diagram for the new switch that shows how to...

We followed the instructions that came with the switch that addressed a "compound wiring" configuration. We also used the black jumper wire as shown in the instructions.
We got to this solution in a trial by error manner though, because the three of us working the problem were convinced the stovetop was wired in a "piggyback configuration" and tried that road first. It would have been helpful if the instructions had included an explanation of the switch manufacturer's interpretation of "compound" and "piggyback" configuration.

No i didn't. I need instructions for wiring a

you have baclk and red wire supply and a black and red wire to load (baseboard).
your switch will have 2 black and 2 red.
connect blk supply to 1 black on switch ( it doesn't matter which one)
connect red supply to 1 red on switch

if multiple baseboards that have several loads at thermostat then just connect baseboard blacks together and reds together before connecting at switch.

Stove top dual infinite switch

If the new switch is a substitute, should have come with instructions.
If no instructions, I would suggest matching the markings on the switch next to each terminal.eg, match terminal marking on old switch as L1 to marking on new switch as L1. The markings are industry standard and should match from old switch to new switch.

If you need further assistance, let me know
