My touch pad not working probably, if i press the left most button on the pad the adjacent right button is activated for instance if i press 1 it 2 is getting activated. pls give me a solution for this. i cud not dial any phone number and any actions. pls help me

For some Electrolux models, icluding the EDC2086PDW, the child lock (control panel lock) is toggled on and off by pressing and holding the Time and Wool Load touch pads together. Hold the buttons until you hear the beep or the indicator light goes off. (The dryer needs to be on for this to work.) On the EDH3498RDL, the two buttons are the Time and Anti-Crease. On both of these models, the two buttons are the left-most pair of a set of four buttons to the right of the LCD screen.

The much newer EDH3498RDL uses a different Control Lock method. Press the Options button repeatedly until the LED next to Lock is let. Then press the adjacent Set button. The Lock option is in the column just to the left of the Start button.

On the top of your keyboard there should be F keys like F1,F2 etc.
Every F key has a little picture.When you see a touchpad picture press Fn+F5. According to my Laptop. For example if your touchpad picture is at F6 then you would press Fn+F6.The Fn key should be located near the ctrl keys. If this does not work then try the following steps:-

1 Click the Windows "Start" button in the bottom-left corner of your desktop. Scroll up and click "Control Panel."

2 Choose the "Mouse" icon or type "Mouse" in the field in the upper-right corner. Click the "Enter" button and then click the "Mouse" link.

3 Press the "Hardware" tab or the tab to the right of it that specifies the type of touch pad you have. If you are under the "Hardware" tab, highlight the touch pad in the list of devices and click the "Enable" button. If you are under the touch pad tab, click the enable button.

4 Click the "Apply" button and then click the "OK" button.

It would appear that the left/right touch pad buttons have failed. You will have 3 options at this point in time.
1) Use an external wireless mouse such as a Logitech Wireless Mouse M505 for roughly $39.99
2) Use alternative features on the laptop. Left click is typically simulated by tapping or double tapping the touch pad itself and right click can be simulated, in most cases, by single tapping the icon and pressing the pop-up menu button, typically located between the right alt and ctrl buttons.
3) Search for a replacement component online and replace the component. Touch pad replacement will require you to remove all casing screws from the laptop and then remove the case. You will then expose the screws and cabling for the touch pad. I can not give more detailed instructions as this varies per laptop model.

1)Go to menu from the touch pad [the icon in right corner] 2)Settings->Application settings->Calls->Voice Call->Call waiting 3)then activate it

try it with toggle keys it may be work

there is a key combination that enables/disables the touch pad. it's the Fn key + the function key that shows a little mouse icon in blue at the top of your keyboard. on Fujitsu this would be Fn+F6 for instance. if this doesn't work, it is possible that the touch pad has been turned off in the BIOS setup. you will have to enter the BIOS and enable or automate the "internal pointing device"

Usually the green means that the button is pressed. Check the touch-pad buttons for dust or dirt. If they're clean, then probably need to be repaired.

Access BIOS settings and search for mouse / peripheral settings, you may find one to activate left and right mobo clicks.

Check your bios settings when the computer first turns on it well say press F2 to enter setup (could be a different F key) if it doesn't say that, try pressing F2, F1, F10, and F12 or the DEL key. if these don't work, Try again and press all the Fkeys across the keyboard. on will take yo into setup and you should find a wireless device setting to turn it on. If you can't find one, you may not have a wireless adapter installed in your system.

Try pressing the FN+F7 buttons together.. This enables / disables the touchpad
