The router's password is a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA orWPA2 encryption key.
The Passphrase generates the WEP or WPA or WPA2 encryptionkey and this is in the router's wireless settings.
To connect to your wireless router, it needs the router'swireless settings configured ie SSID, WPA or WPA2 encryption key and also thewireless cards in all the laptops and or computers needs to be configured withthese router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktop computers cancommunicate with your wireless router.
To add a PC (Not laptop) it must have a wirless USB for it.
Using that PC search for wirless networks.
When it finds your one click on "connect to it" and a box should come up requesting the WEP password, simply type in this password and Ok it, job done.
If you have forgotton password you will have to reset the router and set it all up again :( with new P/W

If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Click
on wireless settings then enable WEP Security then add WEP code .It is

if you want to go wired on your router, you dont need a password.
If you want to connect wireless and forgot the wireless password, then
1. Log on to the web interface of the router and change the password in the wireless settings.
2. If you have more time in your hands , reset your router and bring it back to factory defaults and set it up all over again
Thanks Ranjit

go to 192.168.2.1 >wireless security page. There you will see your old key. Erase it and type in your new key. It is going to ask you for the password if you have set one. If you have not set one, leave it blank and press submit. If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this solves your issue, please be kind to rate it. Thanks, Joe
