Delphi MyFi SA10113 XM Radio

I am using an external fm transmitter with this device. It work fine without the car power supply to the myfi over the radio. Once the power supply is plugged in it seems to create a background hiss. I have tried this in several vehicles. If you plug directly into a car radio and use the power no hiss is created.

I have been using the FM method in my car stereo. It stopped working so I tried all kinds of configurations. The only thing that seems to work is to replace the auto adapter (that the MyFi plugs into) and use the adapter that is supposed to be for indoor use. I have tried this, back and forth multiple times, and with the auto adapter - no transmission; with the indoor adapter - works fine. I have tried this unit with two identical auto adapters and neither works; only the indoor one works. What is the explanation for this?

Try doing away with the external fm transmitter and use the one thats built in to the delphi you just go into settings and set it to a station that has no channels and tune it in

My Delphi XM2GO MyFi has stopped transmitting to an FM station on a house radio. Is it repairable? If so, is there a facility in the Cleveland, OH area where I can take it?

IF you take it out of the home dock and run it on batteries, I'll bet you it works again. The newer home docks TURN OFF the FM transmitter. Try a car dock, or try it with just the power plug plugged into the bottom of the MyFi, without the home dock and see if you can now get the FM transmitter to work. Let me know. Thanks and good luck.

Bought new battery about a month ago, everything until last week. Now my MyFi will not power up. What can I do?

Pull the MyFi from the base and plug the power cable directly into the bottom of the SkyFi radio - you should be able to power up with it plugged in directly, even without any battery. Give it a try and let me know.

The dial on Delphi MyFi is no longer functioning. Can it be reapired and where? Thanks, Chris

Very common -happened to me; cheaper to use a remote control than to get it fixed, or even buy a next generation radio.

I have the Delphi MyFi xm2go. It is not the newer version, SA10113. My problem...It is no longer transmitting to my car's FM radio. While it is sitting in the cradle in the car, it 's display shows that it...

Make sure that this is NOT a "Sure Connect" version that has a very weak FM transmitter, but the older original model with a bland box. Make sure no earphone is plugged-in, then go to the menu and set the FM frequency and set the FM output level and you should be all set..

MyFi FM Modulator Stopped Working?

hi there..there are few ways on installing xm into your car..you can use the FM Modulation that you're doing before..it goes like this...make sure that you're xm radio is turn off( with all the wirings unplug).....then, you just have to go on a blank channel(e.g 90.1) on your car radio...afterwhich, turn on your xm radio and go to MENU....and look for FM settings...and select the same frequency you have into your car radio...and just have to wait for 5 to 8 secs and you should be getting the prev. channels.....
IF: you're only getting prev. channels such as 1, 130 etc...you just have to call xm to send a refresh signal OR you can go to www.refresh.xmradio.com if you want to save more time...just type in your 8 digit radio I.D....

IF:
you're not getting the FM settings.....you just have to click the MENU and select the 'default settings/factory settings' then turn off/on your radio to save the changes...

i'm sure it'll work nowq at this time....Godbless!
