The fuel line is replaceable by itself, you don't need a new tank. Just make sure you get the same size line or it will leak where it goes into the tank. Any local small engine repair shop should have the line. There are two lines that go into the tank, the pickup line has the filter on it. It not only filters the gas but keeps the end of the line down in the fuel.

Why leaf blower hardly pull to star

RUNNING THE MACHINE WITH THE WRONG FUEL MIXTURE COULD BE THE FIRST CULPRIT. IF YOU WERE RUNNING TO HOT YOU COULD BE DEFORMING THE CYLINDER WALLS AND CREATE A PROBLEM THAT IS NOT FUN. TAKE THE PLUG OUT AND TRY TO SQUIRT A LITTLE WD-40 IN CYLINDER CHAMBER. WITH PLUG STILL OFF PULL CORD A FEW TIMES. SEE IF THAT HELPS. IF NO HELP MOST LIKELY BY A NEW ONE. GOOD LUCK PAL.

My Homelite Vac Attack II is 4 years old and I

fit new pump ad float diaphragms in the carby
the fuel mix has become irrelevant as Stihl have an oil that is a 50:1 oil and covers all ratios and mixtures
do not use any e-mix fuels as that destroys carby components

Wht is the gas to oil ratio for a homelite vac

Yours is not a current model and I did not find a manual. The following is an excerpt from a 26cc MightyLite Blower/Vac UT08550/UT08951 "Operator's Manual":
This product is powered by a 2-cycle engine and requires pre-mixing gasoline and 2-cycle lubricant. Pre-mix unleaded gasoline and 2-cycle engine lubricant in a clean 1 gallon container approved for gasoline.
Recommended fuel: This engine is certified to operate on unleaded gasoline intended for automotive use.
Mix Homelite Premium Exact Mix lubricant with gasoline according to the instructions on the package. If Premium Exact Mix lubricant is not available, use a high quality synthetic 2-cycle engine lubricant, mixed at 2.6 oz. per gallon (US).
Do not use automotive lubricant or 2-cycle outboard lubricant.
NOTE: Premium Exact Mix fuel mix will stay fresh up to 30 days. DO NOT mix quantities larger than usable in a 30 day period.
PREMIUM EXACT MIX (50:1)
GasolineLubricant
1 gallon (US) 2.6 oz.
1 Liter 20 cc (20 ml)

1 quart fuel:3/4 ounces of oil = 1 Gallon fuel:3 ounces of oil or slightly less than 43:1. Not what a current manual recommends.

If properly adjusted your blower will operate fine on 50:1 regardless of what the manual reads. HTH

Does this blower use 2 cycle mix; I have a homelite vac attack II 200mph blower and it is having trouble starting

Yes it will use a fuel mixture of 40:1(3.2 oz of two cycle oil to 1 gallon of gas). Any fuel sitting over 30 days now is considered bad fuel. All the manufacturers schools this year and told us this. We are finding it to be true.
Good day.
