Is this a virus? my fan is running constantly and then it said roadrunner, i don't have roadrunner.

When you set your thermostat to auto, it will automatically shut off when it reaches the temperature you set it at. I personally set mine on auto because I don’t want it to run constantly. This will save you money on your gas or electric bill. The blower will run constantly if you set your thermostat in the on position.

First, I would look in the Roadrunner folder for any file that uses the icon, then open Properties on the Desktop shortcut to Roadrunner and click the Change Icon button, locate the file and get the icon from there.

the fan in your computer is constantly running to cool down the cpu and it is normal for it to increase it's speed, your fan should run quietly even it increases the rpm. But if you hear a loud noise in the fan, i think there's something wrong with it. I suggest for you to check the fan if it's coming in contact with anything. If the fan is visible while your laptop is operating, you can observe it to know what is really happening. I don't know what type of fan hp uses on their laptops, maybe something is loose already on the fan so better check it or bring it to a service center.

Your cooling fan should run until it brings the coolant temperature down to set limits. So if you hear the cooling fan running for several minutes after you shut off the engine, it could be that. But if it goes on for too long then it could be a problem.

If you mean by the roadrunner that you are connect via a cable, the reason why the signal may fail and stop you from watching streamed video is that wireless is only 54mbps and not the best speed for streaming, but wired streams at 100mbps and is constant speed whereas wireless doesnt give a constant true speed of 54mbps it can reduce considerably.
