How do I unlock the key pad? The display shows locked and I don't know how it locked.

Here you go.

The Child Lock shuts down the control panel pads to prevent
unintended use of the microwave oven.
When the control is locked, only the Vent Fan and Light pads will
function.
To Lock/Unlock Control: The microwave oven and Timer must
be off. Touch and hold START for 5 seconds until 2 tones sound
and a lock icon appears on the display. Repeat to unlock and
remove the lock icon from display.

Microwave shows F2 on display with controls non functional

HI. this is a code that represents a failed key pad or touch pad membrane board. replacing this failed touch pad will fix this issue. This touch pad board is separate from the actual control board.

Night Light

Your Control Key Pad is a circuit with each function and button a switch. The pad on your TV Remote, and Telephone is no different. The Key Pad is failing, It will only get worse. Determine if you can replace the Touch (Key) Pad. Not the Control Circuit, just the Touch Pad. Sometimes you can get it seperate. It connects by a Flex Cable to the Control Circuit.

Erratic keypad

It must be dissassembed Clean both surfaces (pad bottom surface and board up surface so they would have good contact) with alcohol solution liquid sweep and let them be dry. Next assemble it again and test it. if START KEY persit not working even if it is clean, a small leaf of aluminium must be stuck at the pad bottom of START KEY. Be sure you can carry out this procedure well done otherwise you 'll need to buy another keypad. Good Luck!
