The F7 error code means that a button on the touch pad is bad,you can clear the error code by the pushing clear/cancel button if it doesn't reoccur all is well. If it returns (what i have heard from my customers is that it always reoccurs in the middle of the night when their fast asleep) the touch will need to be replaced
I hope this helps ,if it does please give me a 4 thumbs up rating
HI, Disconnect power to stove Gain access to the back of the clock (electronic range control or ERC). Unplug the pad ribbon connector from the ERC. This will be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide. Make sure everything is clear and will not short out when power is turned back on. Turn power back on to stove. Watch for the F1 and the beep If you see f1 and hear the beep its the ERC If after approx. 30 minutes you do NOT get the F1 and hear the beep, replace the touch pad.

F1 error code usually means that the oven temperature has exceeded 590 degrees. Usually this means that the oven temperature contol sensor ( or thermostat) has failed allowing the heating element to overheat the oven.
To correct this you will need to fit a new sensor. Sometimes the error code can mean a temporary glitch which may be cured by turning off the power for 30 mins and then resetting but if the problem persists then a new sensor is the answer.
Remove power from the range, open the control panel and unplug the membrane switch ribbon from the control board.Reconnect power to the range and observe for an hour.If the error code reappear - replace the control board. If not - replace the membrane switch.
f-7 means either the touch pad is stuck or a relay on the control board is stuck. if the code came up while the oven was not being used then the touch pad is shorted. if it came up while in use then the controlboard is bad
