Did you open it up and inspect to see if you can see any caps with bulging tops, check the 5v and 12~16vdc voltages?
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed SCEPTRE and other monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

20inch monitor only has video for fraction of a second. then goes out. does this every minute or so. i used vga instead of dvi, same. i used mobo instead of video card, same. picture comes to second screen...

It may have power supply problem due to bad DC filter caps, bad backlights inverter circuits, and worst case will be the lamp assemblies.
You need to open it up and check the caps in the power supply section first.

Hi My monitor that i have used to let us shut off the monitor manually, it no longer does it reads key lock whenever we try to turn it off and if we try to adjust any settings it will read key lock in the...

I'm not aware of any ability to lock the keys on any monitor I've seen. I've not used a lot of Scepter monitors but it seems like a rather pointless option to have. So unfortunately the monitor seems to be malfunctioning and will have to be repaired or replaced.
The only thing i can suggest trying is unplugging the monitors power cable for a few seconds in hopes it will reset the monitors control buttons.

I have a 32 inch sceptre naga. when i turn on a tv, the blue screen appears for less than a second and then goes blank. the sound is still on. what could be the problem

mine does the same thing, before... it would come on when i turned it on & off. But now it blue screens then blank black. Blue means if it stays blue & i turn on my computer it will show all the computer stuff, i have not used TV yet.. But if you can get it to stay blue you can change things with the cc control, or swap..
If you find how to keep it blue let me know please..

32" Sceptre LCD No POwer

0939a31.jpg This is the same problem I am having with my Speptre X20WG Naga Monitor.
The power LEDS are usually red in standby and blue in opp; but now they just go purple and nothing happens..no sound no picture. I called tech support and no dice they just wanted my money, but I think all we might have to do is change a fuse on the main pcb! As you can see the white arrow isnt really pointing to anything specific! I think the fuse is the lt blue component, but am not sure. This is all I can offer! If you gat any good tips or if anyone else finds a fix please email me [email protected].
Thanks! and good luck m007!
