I have a HP D530 SFF PD174UC motherboard that I put into a micro tower case, and have it all up and running, but cannot get the onboard audio working. I tried using a Creative labs Soundblaster PCI card while disabling the BIOS audio codec, no luck, re-enable the BIOS audio, install SP24753 and other drivers, no luck. Any ideas?

Go to the web page for the mother board and download the audio driver for it
or go to the web page for the sound blaster card and down load the driver for it from there

You are missing the front headphone / microphone connector that plugs into the motherboard. Or a way to jump this to close the headphones so the sound will come out the back.

SOURCE: HP D530 SFF CHASIS FAN NOT DETECTED

Should be an alarm setting, usually in the bios, for both chassis intrution and fan and cpu warnings. disable it and no error message.
Most likely the fan power is connected to the wrong fan port on the motherboard itself and placing it on the correct port will fix the issue.

Audio output to hi fi from d530 sff

Yes there is. You can use the same connector you use for headphones / speakers. You need a cable - type depends on your HiFi inputs could you specify what HiFi you have?
Although Jack-2xCinch (Male-Male) should work on standard HiFi towers.

Trying to boot and change bios start up for compaq d530 sff

Unplug the case from the power, open the cover and try to locate on the motherboard a small round battery (a little bigger that the one at the electronic watches) TAKE CARE THAT THE TOWER IS UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS. Very carefully remove the batery and wait 1-2 minutes. After that insert the battery back, close the case, plug the tower and start the pc. It will boot at the default bios settings, without passwords but you have to make the settings again (date, boot order e.t.c.)
In case of a problem post back.

Stelios.
