A system that restarts for no apparent reason can be caused by many things. The most common can be the windows registry confused. Conflicting software. Virus infection. In order to help reduce the number of possible causes lets start with a simple step. Click the start button & open control panel. The open the System icon. This will open, System Properties. Click the Advanced tab. Go to Startup and recovery & click the settings button.
Uncheck the, "Automatically Restart" button. Than click ok.
The next time you're system restarts on its own, you should receive an error message from windows. Write down the message. Than get back to me so together we can find a solution to the restarts.

How to download a motherboard driver?

Hello khoei, hi, here are the steps to get you on the way to download the driver.
  1. Get the manufacturer, and the model number of your motherboard. its usually written on the board itself. Ex. Asus P4 PV-MX, well something like that. yours is Biostar NF61S
  2. open a search engine like WWW.Google.com
  3. Type the motherboard manufacturer and model number like Biostar NF61S driver. then click search.
  4. You can search individually like VGA driver, or sound driver.
  5. If you FIND a good link to your driver files, download it. your done.
Usually the manufacturer of a particular motherboard has a website, in your case BIOSTAR, try www.biostar-usa.com. a little browsing will do, and you will find what you are looking for.

Random restart

This definitely sounds like the CPU is overheating, graphics card is overheating, or your memory is failing.

Check your CPU temp. and fan, and check graphics card fan.
