I have a Kodak Easy Share Zoom Digital camera V1003. I am now unable to take photos because when I switch on the camera all I get in the view is a picture of a black leave. Have downloaded the photos contained in the memory card onto the computer without a problem. It seems as if the camera is not able to read the memory card. I have tried different memory cards without success. Thank you

I was downloading my pictures from my kodak easy share v1003 to the easy share program. the camera was recognized the downloading showed up as downloading to a file foler by date. it finished downloading,...

I?ll be fine. All your original pictures are on the C drive. Unless you have changed the directory onto which you save when transferring: You can find the pictures under C-Drive, my pictures. The camera might need to be recharged. The camera doesn't charge from the computer while transferring pics. You will need to switch the camera off before the camera will start charging.

Kodak Easy Share V1003 -Screen stays a grey blue color.

A new screen is availably from virtualvillage dot com for about $45. I replaced one last week. It only takes 20 minutes and a small screwdriver. The ribbon cable is held in by a flip up lock at the main board.

Kodak Easy Share V1003 camera is frozen. Turned

Your fix could be as simple as cleaning the camera's battery contacts, or it could be something more serious and expensive. Before you pay for expensive repairs that you may or may not need, check the Kodak Help Center by clicking on the link below. It uses a simple Q&A format to diagnose problems and propose solutions.

Downloading photos

If you are using Windows XP unplug your camera from your PC and uninstall the Kodak software. You don't need it to transfer photos to your PC. The next time you connect your camera (turn the camera on) to your computer it should recognize it and you can use Windows built in transfer software.
