If you're encountering signal problem with Nokia 5130 try pressing the pound sign and press call. Allow at least 2 to 3 minutes to process your signal request. If the problem persist try checking the signal coverage of your network provider your location might be a dead signal zone. If the above steps has already been done and problem still occurs. You have to open the unit and check for the connection of the antenna to the board. The two most be properly connected to receive a high signal.
Possible fault in the network detection section. It is possible that the transreceiver section in the output has errors. Have the SIm checked with another phone or try the SIM of another service operator to confirm.
If the signal has not improved clean the sections near the antennae, dry off any moisture.
If not get an estimate form the Nokia Care.
