Acu-Rite Wireless Thermometer indoor/outdoor, the only identifying number I can find is inside where the batteries go, a sticker says: 0417. Question: 1) On the indoor piece, I can set the clock to the correct time but the time continues to flash. 2) I cannot set the Day of the Week, Month, or Day.

Before attempting to set the time, let the outdoor transmitter sync with the indoor receiver. Once that's done, you'll be able to successfully set and retain the date and time.

SOURCE: My acu-rite keeps beeping even after a battery

I cut the wire that leads to the annoying noisemaker. Carefully remove the rear cover to expose the circuit board (the rear cover is connected to the circuit board so pull them apart carefully). Locate the noisemaker, mine was round and connected to the back cover with black and red wires. Cut the black and red wires and replace the rear cover. NOTE: If you use the alarm feature, it won't work anymore. I read on the Acurite site that the reason it beeps is because of interference with the wireless signal. They suggest not using one of your wireless devices. If you are like me, that isn't a good option.

SOURCE: Acu-Rite indoor outdoor thermometer won't stop periodic beeping

There is no way to turn off beeping. From this site: http://www.chaneyinstruments.com/FAQ.aspx
found solution - search for - Q: My wireless weather station periodically beeps, why?
A: .. unit's ability to detect a foreign radio frequency of another wireless unit when that unit transmits a signal. .. any wireless devices transmitting on a radio frequency have the potential to interfere with each other. Limit the amount of wireless devices to lesson the chance of interference. When beeping occurs, one device will need to be deactivated.

There is no way to turn off beeping, d/s designers forgot. I had the same problem, another external temp gauge showed up on the other channel, so my neighbor or someone is using the similar unit. MY SOLUTION: opened back of case and cut black wire to piezo speaker (at base if rear cover opposite side of stand-up prop) that creates beep. Don't use any sound features, ALL good now.

Model 00754W4 does not sense outside temperature..new batteries have been placed correctly in both inside and outside units..noW what do I do?

We would recommend a reset of your unit. Please verify that you are using good-quality, standard alkaline batteries such as Energizer or Rayovac, then follow the steps below.
1. Bring both the sensor and display unit indoors and remove at least one battery from each.
2. Make sure the A-B-C switch on both units match. Sometimes changing to a different channel can help.
3. Reinstall the battery in the outdoor sensor.

4. Reinstall the battery in the display unit.
5. Let the units sit within a couple feet of each other for about 20 minutes to gain a strong connection.

Acurite wireless weather will not work new last season all new lithium batteries in right and were checked no picture #'s on screen

Hi Jerry,

While lithium batteries are recommended for the outdoor sensor it is not recommended they be used in the indoor display unit. Try using a good quality, fresh alkaline batteries and you should find your display turns back on.

My acu-rite wireless thermometer model #00604RX isn't capturing the wireless sensor signal..both have new batteries and worked before changing old battery..reset the buttons too...help

Double check the batteries and the direction in which they are installed. If there is one backwards in the sending unit that is outside, it will not send a signal. Also, there is typically one battery in the indoor unit that is responsible for receiving the signal from the outdoor unit. If all of the batteries are in correctly except that battery, you will see the display, but will not get the data transmitted from the outside sending unit.
