I can't get a connection with my HP PSC 1410 All in One printer on my new computer. I've checked the list to install but only the 1400 series is mentioned, not the 1410. Hope you can help. Helen

Did you install the printe? If so depending of your OS try to find printer and faxes in your PC and "add a printe " at the menu Window bar.

    Thank you for getting back. A printer has been installed - only the 1400 series though - and nothing is happening. I've checked the HP list for a 1410 printer to install but there is none. What do I do now?

Here is the link to HP's website for your printer. Select your operating system and download and run the file. I normally unplug the printer from the computer and uninstall any software currently on the computer associated with this printer before the install. Run the software download before you plug the printer back into the computer.

My laptop does not have hp psc 1410 in the set up to use on usb

then select your printer model and download driver for your operating system .
It is 1400 series so all printer driver are same for this series.

Unable to load software for HP PSC 1400 to Vista
Download Vista drivers from here.

As the 1400 doesn't appear in the list so make sure you check the model number.

Most of the drivers for the series are the same as will be the software.

Download the drivers from here if you don't have the cd to run.

Shows what compatible cartridges that are supported by the HP PSC 1400 series which covers the 1410. You could also go to your local printers or computer store and ask them if there are any others that will work. But better off sticking with the genuine article from HP.
