I bought a cisco router model E1000. but only one computer gets internet connection. when instaliing I never saw a password or enter a password we have 2 other computers in the house. what should I do?

This is not a default username for this router. you will need to reset the router to get back into it. There is a reset button to press to get it to its default configuration. Then the default username is blank and the password is admin.
Leave the user name blank and enter the password admin ( admin once only ).
Try this. If that doesn't work then search for the Cisco connect software on your main computer. You might have installed the cisco connect software on your main computer while installing your router. If it is windows computer then cisco connect software might be under All Programs. If is a MAC computer then cisco connect might be under Applications.
Open cisco connect software. Click on router settings. You will see the router name and password. If you click on Advanced settings, it will open the setup page.
If nothing is working then you will need to reset the router and reconfigure it. Remember once you reset the router, you will need to reconfigure it from the scratch.

Follow this instructions:1. connect via hard wired connection (network cable)2. open your internet explorer or any browser.3. type the numbers 192.168.1.1 on the address bar4. you will be routed to your router's settings, type admin for username and admin for password5. look for the basic setup/settings6. look for the wireless settings7. under your SSID comes the WPA-PSK option8. that is your wi-fi password, then modified it and remember the password you use for you will need to enter it on your pc when you are connecting via wireless connection.9. select saveand apply. then you are good to go.
Cisco connect is the software that comes with the router. You might have installed the Cisco connect software while installing your router for the first time. Once you open the Cisco connect software for E1000, you will find the password to access the wireless network. If you have not installed Cisco connect then you can open the setup page of the router and check the wireless settings.
For that connect your router to computer with ethernet lan cable then you can access it with below ip address in internet browser.http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.2.1 Type as user as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password" or "1234" then you can see configuration page of router.Click on wireless settings enable it if you want to set password security then enable WEP and enter password then you can connect it.Enable DHCP and Set WAN settings and internet service provider then save settings and restart router .Let me know if you need further assistance.Thanks for using FixYa.
What is the operating system on your computer? Are you trying to connect to the wireless network? on Windows XP computer you will get this message when the computer is not able to connect to the wireless network. There are 2 reasons. You might have entered incorrect password or your computer is not getting IP address. Read Limited or no connectivity
if you're connected to the router on your computer you can reset the router password through your Internet browser by entering the URL 192.168.1.1 a password prompt will pop up enter admin for the user name and password after that go to the wireless tab then the security sub-tab and you can change it there

if you're running windows 7 sometimes it tries to auto detect the type of network but doesn't ask for a password, when it starts to try to auto detect hit cancel and enter in the password manually.
You are getting the pop up asking for Internet access server drivers. actually that is a bug in the Cisco connect server. You can uninstall the cisco connect from that computer and reinstall the CD. OR go to the device manager on that computer. Under other devices you will find that internet access server with the yellow exclaimation mark. Right click on it and disable it. You can also setup E1000 router without CD or Cisco connect software. Click here for more information
