Here's my shortcut:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard

computer's CD drive, and connect the player to the PC with the USB

Recently i have bought a 4gb ipod & it was working at first.After some days i can copy only 104mb of data to it.Idecided to change the firmware & upgraded it to another firmware found on the net.Now the ipod is totally dead & when connected to my pc it detectes the same asUSB 2.0(HS) ADFU Device &opens hardware installation wizard & asks for adfu files(driver).Friends i really don't know what to do.pls help me.Thank u all.....

I have Sony 8GB 4.3 touch HD player. Usb won't connet to computer. I reset and now froze on Sony Walkman cover.new device attached to your computer, but could not find the driver software it needs to make the device usable. The hardware ID of your device is USB\VID_10D6&PID_FF00&REV_0100
