The data connection between the processor of the printer and its printing head is flawed. This can be caused either by a bad connection (the head is badly installed in its carrier) or by a failure of the processor.
Try reseating the head - if the situation isn't fixed then the processor has failed. In that case the printer is dead, time for a new one.

Pixma MP760 error is showing on printer: The type of print head is not correct. Install the correct print head. I unplugged the printer for a few minutes. Didn't help. The same error window shows up when I try to print from computor. When I open the printer to look at the cartridges they do not come out to the middle.

I think you need to check if the inkjet (print head/ Cartouch) is installed ok on the printer.
& Make sure it is the type supported by your printer.
