Fan motors seized or slow. Turn ovens on with the doors open and switch them on individually, you should see the fans turn behind rear panels, if not see if elements redden up as test if not they may be faulty also.

I have a New World Double oven, dual fuel range cooker - NW 90DFD0 The main oven isn't heating up.

Hello Ally;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

You may not have a problem. Normally your oven will rise about 40 degrees F. above the set temperature and then shut down, until the oven temperature falls 40 degrees F. below the set temperature, then the oven turns back on.

Your oven temperature is controlled by you oven thermocouple.

You also have a high temperature limit switch, which turns the fan on when you go too far above the set temperature to vent the oven. This may be bad.

Why won't the fan switch of after the oven is switch off

Not sure what fan your question refers to, but the fan that removes the heat from above the oven is controlled by a thermostat. It normally does not come on until the air temperature above the oven space is about 300 degrees and does not turn off until it is below 300 degrees.

Kenmore elite electric oven model 790.48033800 stopped heating after running a cleaning cycle. Fan in oven runs, display remains at 100 degrees.

You are basically saying it cannot correctly read the temperature and does not heat the oven any more?
I am thinking this sounds far more like the thermostat that has failed as it reads the temperature, and also regulates the heater on/off depending on what setting you have selected. Easily replaced but will almost certainly require removing the oven from the cabinet (why won't it come out? Usually there are 2 or 3 screws vertically up each side viewable when oven door is open; remove them and slide the whole oven forward).
Good luck

While baking oven starts broiling with no input from controller. f2 is displayed on screen

Hello there:
F2
Note: Also see fan thermal switches Indicates that oven is over temperature in one of the following modes within either a cooking or clean mode of operation.
· Control senses oven temperature above 650 degrees F with the door circuit in the unlock mode.
· Control senses oven temperature above 935 degrees F with the door in the locked mode.
· Stalled cooling fan or airflow problem. · Look for welded relay contacts. (Heating elements on in off mode).
· Look for open thermal switch in lock motor circuit. Switch is normally closed and will open if area overheats due to fan not operating. Look for cause - fan thermal switch not closing, fan stalled, etc.
· Look for high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit due to high contact resistance (poor terminal crimp, deformed terminals, loose connection) or intermittent solder joint on control or intermittent oven temperature sensor.
· Look for electrical noise interference in the oven temperature sensor circuit (Ham radio, cordless phone, etc.).

Fan works, but Oven stays at 100 degrees. Tried

I had the same problem in December - I had to replace the circuit breaker and that solved the problem. My oven wouldn't go above 100 degrees in convection, bake and roast modes. Each of these modes are on a separate circuit so when one is bad, the others should work.

Fan oven door, cooker surround and hob become burining hot when using fan oven

Sounds like a problem to me. Check your oven door gasket to make sure it's intact and also that the oven door is closing completely when this overheating occurs. Although some heat will rise, it shouldn't become "burning hot".
