Seat adjustment We just bought a 1990 olds cutlass cierra with no manual. The driver's seat has an electric switch to raise and lower the seat back, but we cannot figure out how to adjust the passenger's seat.

Do you mean recliner? The recliner is part of the frame of the seat. You could go to a salvage yard and see if you can find a seat for another GM A-body and swap it for the one you have; just transfer the upholstery. If you want to get fancy, find a power seat, and just bolt it in it's place, you'll just have to run a power lead to make it work.

You would need to remove the instrument cluster to get to the back side where the bulbs are.

Fuse. If you have the owners manual, check the book for the fuse
diagram to locate the blown fuel pump fuse. Good luck.

it is probably the motor that works the front only fix is to replace whole seat track.

The Oxygen sensor is very suspect. it is easy to damage on install, even with the correct tool.

Put the old one back in and test the car...

Check under your left leg for the little joystick.

The control switch has developed a problem (intermittent contact or just broke inside) Replace the switch. That should fix it.

Behind the headlight, you should see the nylon bulb holder. Turn it counter clockwise, about a 1/4 turn, and it should come out. Pull the old bulb straight out, and replace it with the new one. Don't touch the glass part of the new bulb with bare fingers, or you'll be replacing it again. Use cotton gloves or a paper towel. Put the holder back in the headlight, turn it clockwise until it locks.

I am sorry but you cannot adjust it, there is no way to over ride the transmission that moves the seat unless you remove the motor, move the seat to where you want it and reinstall motor
