I see droplets of water in the refrigerator side on the fridge. The fridge also has a little bit of ice forming near the vent.. Its a side-by-side fridge. Any ideas?

Water leak under freezer door

the drain should be at the very bottom of the freezer. but it sounds like ur door gasket aint sealing all the way so ur freezer is trying to over compensate for the warmer air coming in

Freezer is running constantly. ice crystals formed on outside of packaged foods. food is still frozen.

the door was left open,if you find frozen water droplets on the food packages or ice crystals it forms from the warm air coming in,make sure all the packages are pushed in and not hitting the door and you can tilt the fridge back a little so the door will close with a slight push.also check the ice shout door and make sure no air is leaking through it,you'll know you'll see all ice around it.you can check the condenser coil and condenser fan to see if it needs to be vacuumed, the machine will run longer if the coil is clogged with dust or if the fan isn't blowing, the coil should be cleaned every 6 to 12 months.hope this helps but it sounds like the freezer door was left open.

My kenmore side-by-side refrigerator is less than 4-years old. freezer works but refrigerator stde does not get cold. ice accumulates on lower vent in refrigerator.

all it does is the evap fan blows cold air from the freezer into the fridge section and returns through the bottom air vent,so if there's ice there most likely one of the doors was left open, check the freezer for frozen water droplets on packages or on the walls and shelves of the machine,if you don't see that open the freezer door,if you don't hear the fan blowing you could have a bad evap fan motor.if the fan is blowing in the freezer from the bottom remove the second draw or bin and put your hand on the back inside wall of the freezer,if there's frost or like snow on the back wall you have a defrost problem, bad defrost thermostat, defrost heater, timer or board depending on what model you have,if the fan is blowing and you don't see any problems that i talked about you could have a bad damper,on some machines there's a damper door that opens and closes to let cold air into the fridge section,if it's bad it won't open and no cold air can blow in from the freezer,if you think the door was left open, remove anything that's in the way,in the freezer side and the fridge side, shut the machine down or unplug it and with a hair dryer melt out the ice, don't keep the heat in one place for to long, you can melt the vent if it's plastic or styrofoam, after you think it's melted out start the machine and put your hand up in the left hand corner in the fridge section and see if you can feel any cold air blowing in,there could be ice up there too, next time send the model number so i can look up your model,on a side by side you'll find the tag on the right hand side wall in the fridge up near the ceiling or on the ceiling near the light.hope this helps,if you have another fridge you could move the food and just shut the fridge down with the doors open and let it melt out on it's own overnight.good luck

Ice & water dripping in refrigerator

Seems that you now have to little gas in the fridge.Somewhere on your apparatus there should be a factory tag where it should be info on amount of gas, prod date etc and also which type of gas to fill.
Other thing as fan not running properly, door gaskets leaking can lead to Ice build up.
High humidity and water all over inside fridge.Gas filling procedure.Make vacum(vacumpump)Fill in correct weight (grams or oz)of gas.Anyhow when you must fill gas there is usually a leak in your system and to find that i use liquid nitrogen. For this serviceman is the best option.

Ice & water dripping in refrigerator

you have a clogged evap. drain and if you want the probelm to go away you need to that the back panel off of the freezer, then use a hair dryer to melt all the visible ice then use boiling hot water to flush the evap. drain tube which is also clogged with ice . once water flows all the way throuh the pipes as if you have flush the tiolet you have then cleared your issue

Wet wall

its possibly a normal occurrence when you open the door of the fridge or freezer hot humid air is drawn in by the fan and condenses with the cold air to form water droplets which most of the time are dealt with when the unit defrosts check to make sure all the doors are sealing properly and tilt the fridge back just a little to make sure it has a tight seal as to the fan that's a judgment call on your part rule we used to use when i was in the Field is if it bugs the customer its too loud
