Safety key is installed? No response from key presses usually indicates a "halt"state for the upper control "brains" like when the safety key is pulled. You can also try jatinah electronics for further help.
treadmills draw alot of amps when being used. they recommend a 20 amp dedicated outlet.i ran into the same problem with a treadclimber.
you can try using a 15 amp but make sure nothing else is on that line
You should first check the power from the wall outlet and then follow the power going into the machine -- once you find the place where the power stops, you will find the problem.
Treadmills are machines with a considerable pull of electricity. Make sure you are operating on a dedicated circuit.
Most users have the machine plugged into a spare bedroom outlet ehich is either not dedicate (power source spread out to more then one outlet) or is a GFI outlet (Ground Fault Indicator).
These outlets are used so homeowners do not overload an outlet in an area where a resident will sleep and be in danger of a fore or death.
Usually in the first few pages of your owners manual it will give you the requirements for your machine.
You can run an extension cord to another room with a dedicated outlet, but the extension cord does not transmit all the power coming out of the outlet and will eventually lead to other issues, usually electrical issues within the machine.
You can use a multimeter to see what else could be the issue with your outlet, but will want to consider having an electrician put in a dedicated outlet.
Dear Sir. Please turn on the power switch that goes down in the machine is Red switch, most of time there some light of Neon that illuminated when you push to ON. Otherwise reset the button to the side to the power button.
If everything is o.k go inside of the machine and see if the breaker of fuse is tripped or blow, or corrored ( clean but disconnect the power cord): and try again. If not work. You must see if you have power from the outlet wall in your house and reset your breaker.
Connect the power cord on the NordicTrack treadmill firmly to a working
power source if the treadmill does not operate. Use a single-outlet
surge suppressor, available at most hardware stores, and plug the
treadmill into a grounded outlet. Look at the "Reset/Off" circuit
breaker on the treadmill base and wait five minutes before pressing the
switch if it has popped .
Not likely any reset button. If both seats have stopped working it must be some power problem I would think. There is a control unit under the seats but I think there are two, one for driver and one for passenger. Change the fuse anyway, make sure you have the right one.
It it completely shuts down ( console shuts down then restarts) it may be a static electricity problem. Check your outlet to be sure it is grounded. Check the plug . The ground pin may have been removed.
