Hi don't worry for the Cd any more I will teach you how to configure your router manually.

  1. Connect the computer to one of the four gray ports on the back of the router.
  2. Open a web browser on the computer Internet Explorer.

  4. Click Log-in in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

G model F5D7230-4 plays music in middle of night! What's up?

Hi Iam wireless router technician
To fix this issue all you have to do is, Make sure that noise is coming from the router first..(If "yes")..Reset the router and re- configure it, Still if you hear the noise..

Confirm the model number( starts with F5D) & version (starts with VER) of your router and cal belkin technical support (toll free number) Explain them the same and you will get free replacement.
Hope this Information helpful for you all

A 2nd pc connected to my belkin 54g wirless rouer now mine cannot

Of course you've clicked "refresh" wireless network list? Go to the working computer and in a DOS box type IPCONFIG /ALL to find the gateway address for the router. ( Or refer to your wireless connection utility ). I will probably be 192.168.0.1 for example. In your browser address line put HTTP://192.168.0.1 and click the arrow. You should be talking to the router now, default id and/or password is typically ADMIN. Go to wireless settings and make sure SSID broadcast is turned on. Also note the SSID name, encryption type ( WEP, WPA, etc ) and note the key, if any. You now have enough information to connect the second computer. Yeah, this is complicated. If it's more than you want to know best get a friend to help you, though I may be able to answer specific questions once you get into it.

Annex a/b

Normally for routers or gateways you can check the actual model number on the device itself for UK devices usually they will affix letter A or B next to the model number to indicate which region it belongs. Open region routers and gateways are compatible with region A locations but not with region B.

SECUTITY TO STOP OTHER PEOPLE USING MY WIRLESS INTERNET

I connected to my Belkin G Plus MIMO router using IP address 192.168.2.1 to enable security to prevent others connecting to my system. I enabled password just to start with. I also changed Time to GMT time and I changed someting about Server to European (I forget what exactly it was). The result was when I confirmed these changes my router will no longer respond to this IP address and no longer works for me. How can I get connected again to change timngs !

Have a 1year old Belkin wireless router that has worked until a couple of weeks ago. Unable to connect to internet wirelessly and unable to secure it. Have spoken to several tech people and after extensive...

I believe you need to call the netgear support again and ask if you can talk to their department with replacement concerns. Because if the online replacement order didn't work, your only option is to call their customer support number for manual process of replacement.

Hope that helps.

Belkin wireles

There are a number of locations from which you can download the drivers, even though the belkin site is not available these days.
I can probably supply the Win XP version of the drivers by email if needed. Let me know, and I'll put something together.
Hope this helps.
