My vizio plasma tv quit, Problem with the P50HDTV20A 50 in. HDTV Plasma TV My vizio plasma tv quit, model # P50hdtv20a. It turned itself off and will not power back up. It does not even have the power light on front panel illuminated. I have unplugged it and left it sit over night and it still is the same. Got any ideas, are we looking at a power supply or are there fuses that could be replaced? Thank you for any help you can give me, Frank.

Is there a fuse in tv

Fuse is located on the power supply board inside the TV.

Why does my Vizio 50" plasma tv not capture the video signal? It keeps poping in and out till it warms up and then it will finally hold the signal.

Be sure that your signal is strong enough coming through the HDMI or coax. If your signal is strong enough, it may actually be your TV's power supply needing to warm up.

I have power and sound but the screen is black ... i have read that it could be a fuse ... how do i access the fuses or where are they located on the tv ... it is a vizio 50 inch plasma P50HDTV20A

Hi the picture on a plasma TV is controlled by the Zustain board. You have a bad Zustain board. Their are two on your TV so you have to figure out which one is bad to order it. Most of the TV the bad one will have a bad fuse or it will not heat up like the otherone. You can always replace them both also. you can get parts fro this TV at www.interliquidparts.com

Can i safely play video games on my vizio

Yes, you can. Modern Plasma, and LCD, TV's don't suffer from the kind of burn-in you used to hear about. There are times when the pixels can become persistent (looks like burn-in) but these pixels will turn back to normal after a short time of normal television use.
So, yes, you can definitely use your awesome 50 inch TV to play video games, :).

Screen broke

Screen broke? or did it crack? If so you need to buy a new TV. The replacement screen is worth more then cost of a new TV. If the screen is intact, you might new an inverter board.
