There could be some problems w/ the battery terminal on the camera. If this camera still has a warranty go use it. Or you can update the firmware of your camera w/c can be downloaded from Canon's website( if there's a firmware avail for this model)

Battery charger reads battery full when dead

The battery is no longer good. You will need to buy a new battery. Don't over charge your batteries. They all vary. Expensive cordless tools will come with a charger that shuts off automatic to prevent over charging. I own cheap Skill drills that has served me well. These batteries lasted over 11years. It makes no sense. They should not have lasted more than 5 yrs., even 2yrs. I make sure I never over charged them, but they should not last that long. Freaky. Your battery is dead forever, sorry. I have others just like yours waiting to be recycled.

Why Power Tool batteries can't charge to 100%?

Batteries wear down over time. The cells inside them don't work as well at holding a charge compared to when they were brand new. So after using them for a while they begin to last a shorter amount of time.

Lithium Ion batteries last longer and don't wear out as quickly. NiMH batteries are next in reliability. And NiCad have their own issues.

Why does my battery drain so fast on my Samsung Admire cellphone?

maybe you are using too many functions. Try removing everything you don't need or you could get a new battery they don't last forever. Another tip make sure you flatten the battery regularly and then recharge to full from time to time.

My acer Aspire 5741 won't charge beyond 37%

Let your computer run out of battery(until it shuts down) then plug it but don't turn it on... let it charge for about 2 hours. Post here if it worked.

My nokia 2690 is not getting started (on) & not supporting the charger also.its not getting charged.

It sounds like your battery has died. The batteries don't last forever and they eventually start to hold less and less charge. Did you notice the battery starting to last a shorter and shorter time? You probably need a new one.

2003 flhtci parasitic drain? new to me trike. 2,000 miles. bought last fall, rode twice. started it the end of april just fine. tried to start last week and the battery was stone cold dead. would...

Now,I'm not sure because I don't work on bikes 2000 and later. Why? Because they have a ECM control in them. The ECM draws a certain amount of current. This should be in the milliamp range and will not pull a good battery down for many months. If you want to measure the drain, disconnect one of the battery cables. Using a Digital Volt Ohm Meter, set it up to measure AMPs. Touch one lead to the battery post and the other lead to the battery cable. If the meter reads a negative number, swap the leads. It will read how many amps the ECM is drawing. It will probably be something like 0.0XX amps. If it's over 1 amp, I'd suspect a problem. But, keep in mind what I said to begin with, I don't work on these bikes.

Good Luck

My battery will not keep a charge it don't last 10 minutes/ i like the weedeater but it just don't last long enouh

I had one of these a while ago, the batteries are just cheap. Trimmers also use a lot of energy and battery powered ones aren't the best way to go if you want them to run a long time. I highly recommend replacing it with a good gas or plug in model from your local hardware store, they can help you find the right one to fit your budget. If you don't want to get a new trimmer you are going to be fighting dying batteries every year.

I used my Worx trimmer successfully last season. This spring when I went to use it, it would not hold a charge. The light shows green on the charger but the trimmer only works for about a minute before...

Your battery is shot. I had one of these, the batteries are really cheap and don't last long. If you can afford it, ditch the Worx and buy a quality trimmer at your local hardware store. If you are short on cash you can buy new batteries online.
