How to tune multiple carburetors, on my bike

You need a special tool call a vacuum manometer tool kit, it measures the vacuum reading from each carb at the test port, the idea is to adjust the throttle base setting so all carbs have the same vacuum showing on the four vacuum meters. What causes a lot of gas in oil on 8.5hp B&S

This would be caused by a sticky needle valve on the float in the carburetor. You have three cures 1. remove and clean the carburetor internally. 2. replace the carburetor with a new one. 3. or most simply buy and install a fuel shut off valve and turn it off when not in use. make sure you change the oil 1 4 ID LINE GAS FUEL SHUT OFF VALVE TECUMSEH BRIGGS

There a leak on my carburator..can it be possible to change the gaskets? if possible where can I buy the parts... or can i replace it with a new one and how much?

Yes it is possible to change the gaskets. You can buy the parts at any Auto Zone or Napa, Kragens, ect. You can also replace it with a new carburetor but it will be pricey. Your best best is to buy a rebuild kit for the carburetor. It will include everything you need. But you do need some mechanical skill to do this repair.

My weedwacker starts but when i squeeze the throttle it dies out how do i adjust it

If you turn the L mixture screw counter-clockwise about 1/8 to 1/4 turn, it will improve the throttle up capability of the carburetor, providing the fuel pump diaphragm and metering-lever diaphragm in the carburetor are not dried up and worn out. They make a special tool for adjusting the screws in the carburetor. Sellers on Ebay have the tool. Of course you have to register as a member to buy. The tool is not readily available at small engine repair shops or hardware stores as the manufacturers don't want us to mess with the "lean" settings required per EPA emissions rules (esp. in California). If you don't use Ebay, there are other ways to "turn" those little splined mixture screws. I use wire plastic wire terminal connectors (ring type and splice-connecting type). I tap the ends of the wire connectors (not wire nuts, mind you) over the heads of the screws until tight and proceed from there. The wire connectors I use I think fit 22 gauge wire. If you take them out, cut slots in the heads so they can be turned with a conventional screwdriver. This is a very, very cheap alternative to buying a tool. Small, soft brass or aluminum tubing (found at hardware stores and big box stores) can also be forced down over the heads of the screws. I will include a link to the tools on Ebay and a link on how to adjust the carburetor using the 2 (L and H) adjusting needles.

My trimmer runs on chock give it gas and it dies will not rev up is there a special tool to set the carb ?

Sounds like you will need to clean your carburetor.
Sometimes you can get by with priming it a few times, and letting it
run a few times like that and it will flush the gunk out of the jets,
but most of the time you will need to rebuild the carburetor.
If the mower is over a couple years old, then I also recommend that you
buy and install a new carburetor repair kit, because the diaphragm will
get hard and that will cause it to be hard to crank.
When you clean your carburetor and remove the jet screws, count the
number of turns it takes to seat the jets from their original position.
That way when you go to put the jets back in, you know how many turns
they were in/out.
There is no special tool to use on the carb, just a screwdriver to adjust the jets back to normal position.
Please rate me, Thanks
Good Luck, I hope this helped
