Have the go gear plugged to another PC to check if the player is detected. If so the PC is having errors and must be scanned for virus or restored to an earlier date.
Also check to see if the go gear is infected or has faulty files in the memory. If so have the files delected off after scanning, format and reinstall files with the help of the philips media convertor.

Hi i have a Philips go gear aria mp3 player & windows 10 PC.the player will not play music that is transferred from real player, saying need windows music player, not compatible on my pc please help.

You need to check the file format on music, windows media play does not support their format ((*.ra, *.rm). You can change the format to mp3 or .wav using other software.

Almost same as with the any sanza mp3 player

but instead of Sanza Media Converter you need Media Converter for Philips

2) install the download
3) sync your Philips gogear with your computer
4) load "Media Converter for Philips"
5) Drag videos to the converter
6) click convert
