The eMachines W3507 uses an Intel D102GGC2 motherboard.

Yes it does. It's a DB-25 parallel port.

Look at the I/O area on the back of the desktop computer.
(Input/Output)
The Green PS/2 port is for the Mouse. To the right of it is a parallelogram shaped port.
Pink in color, 13 pins across the top, 12 pins across the bottom.

Where do you hookup the printer to the one zx series

Hello,

Where you hookup your printer to your PC will depend in part on what interface your printer uses to communicate with your PC.

Some of the possibilities are the parallel port, the USB port or a lan port.

Most printers these days use the USB port.

There appears to be four USB ports on the back of your machine.

Hello, I have the emachines EL 1200 - 06w PC desktop. I would like to connect an HP 4000 N printer. The printer has parallel connector. This computer does not. Is there a way to connect the printer?

On ebay search for USB to Parallel convertor. It is available, very inexpensive and useful. I have one for my older printer. You will need drivers from hp.com when it is connected to get it to work properly.

I have a HP Laserjet 4P that had been used on my company laptop and home computer. When I upgraded top a new Dell Vostro 420 running Windows Vista Business and moved the printers over to this unit the...

You don't write how exactly is your printer connected - if I remember correctly, HP LJ 4P doesn't have a USB connector, and Vostro doesn't have the parallel port available.
So how did you connect it? Is it via some USB to parallel adaptor, or via JetDirect network card in the printer? There are multiple separate issues that may be applicable in either case...

Where is the port to hookup a epson stylus color 880

Generic comments:

Does your Epson use a parallel cable (25 or so pins - fat cable) or does it use a USB cable?

Does your Gateway have a Parallel port (very large "D" connecctor)? It certainly has a USB port, doesn't it?

You may have both. Which to use? Well a parallel cable will cost you about $25.00 and a USB cable (special for printers) will be about $10.00 - Price aside, I would be inclined to use the USB.

If you need drivers, visit WWW.epson.com/support search your printer and find your drivers.

May I recommend you visit www.pcpitstop.com and have them do a complete computer scan? I believe you will be pleased with the report they provide you on the status of your computer. Did I mention it is a free service?

You dont say what OS you are using.

I have just bee to Driverguide and the Vista driver is not there. I have requested it for information purposes, but you should request it yourself, to be sure. If it turns up, I will check to see you have it. Ian.

CONNECTION LOCATION FOR PRINTER ON MODEL ET1161-05 EMACHINE

Ok if it is a usb connection then any of the usb ports

If its parallel then it shows that here too.

ethernet printers are usually attached to your router so that all the computers can use it and this would require a cat5 / rj45 / ethernet cable.

If it is wireless then yoo should run the software that came with it as
there would be no physical connection
