We bought the sk-26h240s--sk-26h520s television. We installed it and for the mostpart it works just find. There has always been a few issues with the picture not quite fitting the screen, but since they were smaller picture, it was O.K. But now, and we don't know what we might have done to cause this, the picture is bigger and we can't get it back to fitting or smaller then the screen area. Help...what can we do to correct this.

Also damaged capacitors can cause a slow dieing effect to the display, from what I have seen during my research efforts to find solution for repairs to computers people have bought to me. I have only seen "dead" display lcd monitors that have repaired ok by replacing the $1 capacitors.

The input signal is missing and the blue screen background comes on the screen. Change the input to some other device which you are sure works and see.

the volume of dvd depend upon the type of dvd used as well as the volume of both ur tv and dvd player should be high

This is definitely a problem with the LCD controller of the tv or the LCD panel itself. However if I were you I would hope that its just the controller(which costs about 50$) and go ahead with the replacement to see if that resolves the problem

Check to see if you are getting 12vdc feeding the T-CON board. the gray glowing means the backlight is working.

You need th check th epower supply module, that will be the first place to look, look for bad solder joints, bad leaking/bulging caps.

Hello, two things, one if the unit gets stuck there meaning that the W stays there and it shows that on the screen thank your main board is stuck on the boot mode and you will need to replace. The second is if the W goes away than you need to see if you can plug something in and change the input mode (even if you can't see anything on the screen) so that you can see if there is any sound coming in to the unit. Vertical color scan has an open or short..............it could also be a ground problem with in the V-color scan circuits...

If you tap the tv and the color bar is gone then its a ground problem with in those circuits above. Needs a solder re-flow and check the condition of ribbon cables.
