I have an inageclass mpc600f and am finding it very hard to find the appropriate drivers to get to work. All I can get from "Canon" is an update ver.4.00 which is hopeless without the original drivers. Can anyone there help. Canon Techs emailed saying that they dont have them available anymore.

Pls disconnect the scanner, uninstall scanner driver and switch of the computer. After restarting, run Scan disk and then install appropriate driver for MAC OS and connect the scanner. This should work.

Uninstall the drivers.

Unplug the printer.

Restart the computer

Reinstall drivers (make sure to overwrite old files if prompted)

Perhaps restart computer again?

Finally (only then) do you want to plug the printer in. It should find it.

If that doesn't work, you may want to monkey with your USB2 drivers...not sure why, but they cause a lot of problems.

Buy a new cartridge. If You can find one.
The less environment friendly version is, buy a new printer.( Recommended)

Unfortunately there appears to be no Vista Driver available from Canon. IF and is said IF it does eventually become available this would be how to find it.

This page offers information as to vista compatibility but I saw no news about pending drivers for inkjet multifunctional devices. There were some projections for laser multifunctional devices.
