It sounds like a power board or overheating issue. Find your local Peavey agent and take it in for repair. If you want to try something, open it up and look for a cooling fan and fluffed up vents.
If the mixer output shuts down as you describe, some part is over heating and once it cools down you can turn it back until it happens again. This will not be user serviceable. Here is the link to Peavey Support who can provide a service center contact and schematics. peavey com
That's easily done. Simply connect the left(or right) output of your mixer to one of the channels on the peavey. Use any line input. Since the peavey is a mono system, there's no need sending a stereo mix to it.
