When I start to sew the thread keeps coming out of the take up lever on my Singer 2732

try changing the needle
try rethreading the machine top and bobbin with a different thread
try a different bobbin--and then make sure the bobbin is turned the
right way.
make sure the to thread has not come off the thread take up lever

it's a problem with the thread take up lever, either put a small
piece of tape on the take up lever or take a pair of pliers and
carefully place a cloth over the take up lever and close the take up
lever a little but don't damage the take up lever

Replace the bobbin case with the "Apollo Bobbin Case" part number 421326 located on this page. That should take care of your problem.

You need to do the first pickup by hand. Lower the threaded needle by using the hand wheel not the foot pedal, when it comes up, catch the needle thread carefully and pull up. It should bring the bobbin thread with it. Now you can start sewing. I hope.

When threading your needle make sure you pull enough thread through...a good 4 inches will do..hold the end of the thread and turn your hand wheel by hand until needle comes back up...you should have a loop around your upper thread ...pull this loop out towards you..you should now have two threads..cut threads till about 2 inches and make sure you position threads through the center of your sewing foot and towards the back of your machine. "Birdnesting" occurs when there is no tension on the needle thread to pull the bobbin thread. This is easily corrected by rethreading the machine, following the threading path carefully and making sure the thread is fully engaged in the tension mechanism.

can you please post what is the problem that is making your sewing machine not usable...
