Need to replace fuel lines on my Troy Bilt gas hedge trimmer. Where can I get replacement fuel lines... or better yet... what size are the lines and where can I buy a few feet of the lines. Note: I have reviewed the parts assembly and it would seem to indicate I have to replace the entire handle assembly (Part #1) instead of just buying replacement hose(s). Any help to resolve my issue would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

Replacement fuel lines should be readily available at your local lawnmower repair shop. Your TroyBilt hedger uses fuel line that is 3/32" (2.4mm) interior dimension, 3/16" (4.8mm) outside dimension, with a 3/64" (1.2mm) wall dimension.
Most manufacturers don't offer replacement line, only fuel tank assemblies. Find your local shop, and try to get the TYGON brand...it is yellow. Tygon lasts the longest. You should be able to buy it by the foot for less than $2 per foot. You will need 2 feet of hose to replace both lines.

Make sure to clean the in-tank filter when replacing hoses.

Good luck.

Wh does my electric hedge trimmer shuts off when I angle it.

It is not getting enough fuel for some reason. Either water got it, the gas is bad, the line may have a hole in it, ect. Check fuel/fuel tank

What is the fuel line size for Troy Bilt TB525CS Trimmer?

Yes, something special to know. If the new fuel line is going into the gas tank, be sure to cut a steep angle on the end of the line going into the gas tank. This will allow enough of the line to get into the tank where you will be able to grab it thru the gas fill opening with needle nose pliers and pull it thru.

My troy-bilt TB425CS gas string trimmer gas lines have gone away. In replacing those lines how far into the tank do they go?

far enough so that you can reach through filler cap and pull the line out to attatch fuel filter.
then you can pull it back in and let it rest on the bottom of the tank

Bulb stay compressed for some time - no fuel to the carb

Replace or rebuild the carb or... get a good trimmer that's not a RYOBI sold under the names of Troy Bilt, Bolens, or MTD Yard Machines. My 2 cents. :)

Line stuck inside head of troy-bilt trimmer

Take an awl or small diameter screw driver, same size or a bit smaller dia. than the line dia., and push it through the hole from the outside of the line head. This should push the piece of old line through the hole.
Recommendation: Leave at least one inch of line on the inside of the head, so you can grab it easily when you have to replace the line. I'll carry a pair of long nose pliers on me when I use my trimmer, so I can easily grab hold of the inside piece to pull it through.

How to replace a fuel line

No biggy, you need to buy the same size fuel line tubing, preferably from the dealer, and replace it by undoing the tubing fasteners, little clips you undo with a pair of pliers. Before doing this, make sure you cut off the fuel line valve which should be right under the gas tank, if none, empty the gas tank in a seperate container. Good luck.

Where is the gas filter located on a troy bilt trimmer?

The fuel filter is inside the fuel tank. Replace the fuel filter. Do not clean it.
