My phone a (HTC WILDFIRE) is not allowing me to have voice mail alerts. the call setting keeps saying remove voicemail notification and would not let me have voicemail notifications i have contacted my provider and they the problem is not from there end. i changed my sim but issue still continue. can you help me.. mr fustrated

check with your cell service provider. If your voice mail has a password to access your messages, that same password has to be entered into your phone voice mail app so that the phone can have automatic access to the message alert system. You may have accidentally turned off the feature. Check your settings, especially if you phone has a sleep mode.

I have the HTC wildfire and the message alert has turned itself off so that it doesn't beep, it only vibrates. I've tried going to main menu, messages, notifications and it's got tick on receive notifictaion and notifiction sound but there is no sound. Please help.

I suggest you purchase small voicemail (4 mailboxes) for about $250 with installation and cancell your carrier voicemail service. You will be able to see new message light, also you can access your mailboxes remotely. It will pay for itself if carrier services cancelled within 7 or 8 month. make sure you have set the correct voicemail number, and turned on voicemail checking

and no, the ring is preset by your service provider

Your voice mail is probably set to send notification for the first message only. No matter how many are in there, it will only tell you once. You may be able to change the notification type, depending on your voice mail.

The notification will only alert once. It can't be set to alert repeatedly. Sorry...

this use to be an old virus that was going around it affeced tx msg as well by bombarding your phone with continuess msg contact your service provider and they can reset your voice mail for you they wont charge for this hope this is somr help if not you will have to change service provider but you can keep your same no but they should be able to sort this out over the phone so try calling them first

okay you can fix this by calling and leaving a voicemail for your self then checking it. That should solve your problem.
