I have a BOSCH SH33M02UC that is stuck in a constant draining mode and won't work. I just paid someone $99 to tell me that the float was stuck because a mouse flipped the switch. It happened again and I want to know how we can fix it ourselves. Anyone have a pictorial explanation?

SOURCE: Bosch dishwasher

is all the water draining from the tub? if not the pressure switch will not reset and it will continue to try and clear it self...check drainage system.
2. pressure switch is jammed on..build up in the sensing chamber..common..or switch faulty...rarely
3. if water is in the bottom panel most have a flood switch which automatically operates the pump in case its over filling

SOURCE: no fill - drain pump running - I assume stuck float switch

remove the bottom plate of the dishwasher and the bottom pan is revealed. reason the drain pump is running will be that this pan has water in it ie you have a leak. mop out the water and dishwasher will work - switch off mains when you do this

SOURCE: bosch Dishwasher. Mushroom float

I have a guide here that covers problems with the drainage functions and also the float switch. It is on the left side as viewed from the front, and it's behind a panel held on by 2 - T-25 screws. Be careful that you do not break the plastic holding the switches in when you take it apart. you will need to clean the float thoroughly.

Drain pump running as in flood protect mode even with door open, At first I thought the float was sticking due to sludge deposit.

The main controller and circuit board may have a short. Switches take their instructions from the main board and if a power surge or power outage occurs, one or more diodes, resistors or capacitors are faulty.

Bosch Dishwasher won't fill with water

Certainly *sounds* like the float is stuck in the over filled position
or possible a bad float switch, if the float is stuck in the up or full position, the d/w will not fill with water and the drain motor will often run all the time

Bosch dishwasher stuck on drain cycle. Where would I find the float valve?

If the D/W tries to drain when the door is open, you will have water in the tray. open the service panel and check to see, drain, then run. Location on most Bosch D/W float is mounted on left chassis.

Bosch SGS5332GB dishwasher. drain pump runs all the time

There is a float under the machine that tells the pump to shut off. If the float is stuck or bad, the machine will keep draining. I am including a web site that might help. Bosch Dishwasher That Will Not Stop Draining Hunker

Bosch exxceldshwasher constantly on drain,is the fault wth the float valve,if so how is it accessed .water inlet valve is ok etc, drainage is clear etc etc

There is a float on the bottom of the dish washer does this float move freely up and down? If not it is probably stuck in one position.

Bosch classixx slimline dishwasher not running through cycle

fault is that there is a leak. the tray at base of dishwasher is full of water which operates a float and turns on drain pump. tilt over 45deg and water will run out and then it will work or remove bottom front panel and mop out (better). then find leak

Will not shut off at end of the drain cycle

there should be a float behind the fill valve with a magnet in it which operates a reed switch. This switch keeps the pump running as long as the base has water in it or if the float is stuck on the up side (and makes the pump "think" that there's water in the base). Check this float to see if it's stuck and release it so it could tell the pump when to stop draining. Hope this solves your problem.
