Unlocking your sim card is not a problem that should bother you. Just contact your Network provider with prove of ownership and it will be unlock for free.

Take the SIM-card out. It's important that the SIM card IS NOT in the phone, during the following steps!!

Turn on your phone without the SIM-card

Enter #*7337#

Insert the new SIM-card, and see if it is unlocked.


If it is not unlock yet then try *2767*637# this code instead on #*7337#

Hi, If you get error message as PIN blocked. Unlock?" You have entered the wrong PIN code too many times. You need to unlock your phone using the PUK (PIN Unlocking Key) code. Your PUK code is provided by your network operator. If you get error message as Insert correct SIM" You have inserted a SIM card that is not supported. Insert correct SIM card, or contact your Service Provider for a SIM unlock code. If you get error message as Phone locked" or "Enter PIN" Your phone is locked and you need to unlock it with your personal PIN. PUK means "personal unlocking key" .

The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.

You need to call the phone company that released the SIM card, they can retrieve the puk code from a database for free.

In your case you need to contact your SIM card provider technical support to unlock the SIM.


The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.

If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone will not ask for the PUK anymore.
