Hi, there is a general short cut for activating and de-activating call barring on Nokia cell phone..

*33*0000# to activate call barring,

while #33#0000# to de-activate call barring.

The call barring password for airtel is 0000 by default unless you change it. But the call barring feature is not working well with most sim cards of airtel. And the Airtel customer care is not helping us anyway and they try to tell us that its a feature of your cell phone.

If the default password is not working you may alternatively try by setting the "SEND MY CALLER ID" feature to "No" and this will prevent from making outgoing call. And to block any incoming call use the Blacklist option in your 2300

The short cut for the code is
1.To activate call barring (*33*0000#).
2.To deactivate call barring (#33#0000#)

my nokia 2300 has been locked.When the phone starts it asking security code.i forget my code please help....

Yeap! Charging problem is the UEM. On cheaper phones like this nokia has implemented all functions to one chip. Namelly UEM so you must change that to work again. I am not sure if it's worth the money to do it.
