I cant program my tv to my charter remote. (no code).

I would look the code up on the remote manufacturers web site list.

If you go to this site
Charter net Charter Remote Controls 1060BC2 1060BC3 and put in Sharp as the TV type, it both gives you instructions on programming the Charter remote, and gives you the codes for Sharp TVs (10818, 10093, 10688, 10851, 11602, 12360 in this case)

Charter has a web site tat list the codes. Bit hard to find the url so you might call support

027,022,018,046,073,082 are the codes to check. If you wish to get more details, check this site. Pull up older posts there. Setup code list and setup proceedings to many popular brand remote controls are given. Three digit, four digit, five digits and two-digit code list are there. Check the site with patience. Surely you'll get a solution to your problem. Search the site by 'Timeslide' option. It will make search easy. Or, type in the brand name to your device into its search box, and press "Enter."

You will need to program it to your cable box to change channels. Remember, the channels in your tv are coming from your box, so if the remote can't control the box, you won't be able to change channels. Call charter for help on programming remote to cable box.

Try the Phillips website >HERE< which links to their Universal Remote support centre. Unfortunately you haven't given the details of your actual remote but you should be able to find it and download a manual or email them direct.
