Vehicles without the smart key system: While pressing the trip meter reset button, turn the engine switch to the "ON" position. Continue to press and hold the button until the trip meter displays 000000.

Navigation Maintenance Item Data (If equipped)

This system has a function which informs you of the time to replace certain parts or components as well as other information shown on the screen. When the system begins operating after reaching either the information items date or driving distance, the "information" screen will be displayed.

To avoid seeing the "information" screen again, touch the "Do not display this message again" switch.

After you input the information, touch the "OK" switch. The screen returns to the "Maintenance" screen. The icon color will change to green after the date and driving distance are input. The icon color will change to orange when your vehicle needs to be serviced. The following switches appear on the "Maintenance" screen.

  1. Delete all: Cancel all conditions which have been input.
  2. Reset all: Reset all items which satisfy either condition.
Touch the "OFF" switch on the "Maintenance" screen, and the "Information" screen will no longer be displayed.

Note:

I know on chevy silverado you can turn the key on and pump the gas pedal like 8 times then start it and your like check engine light and stuff goes away but it will come back on so many days later and you just have to do it again or just bring it to the shop and they should be able to take it off idk how much that would cost you

SOURCE: How do i reset the maintenance required light

1. Turn the ignition key to the “OFF” position
with the odometer reading shown.
(For details, see “Odometer and two
trip meters” on page 145 in this Section.)
2. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position
while holding down the trip meter
reset knob.
Hold down the knob for at least 5
seconds. The odometer indicates “000000”
and the light goes off.
If the system fails to reset, the light will
continue flashing.

To reset the Maintenance Lamp turn the car key to ON (not start), set your odometer on mileage (not trip a or b), then depress and hold the button that switches from odo and trip then turn key off. Turn the key back to ON, while you are holding the button down you will notice the maintenance light blink and go out. Reset is complete and you are done.

These are available in your owners manual for the vehicle.

Maintenance required light is on

Turn the key ON, but don't start it, and make sure the odometer is showing the actual mileage, not trip A or B. Turn the key back to the OFF position, then press and hold the trip/reset button. Continue to hold it down and turn the key to the on position. Continue holding the trip/reset button while the mileage flashes rows of zeros until the actual mileage appears again. Release the button, because you are finished.

Good luck (remember comment and rated this).
