My printer is giving an error message..."error 57.03"to continue turn on then off....i do it to no avail.help me

This is not a SMALL error. It will invariably involve servicing by experts and parts. Workmanship and quality will depend on factors like country and skills availability.
It might not be cost effective too. Please research if it is worth to repair rather than buy new model with warranty based on price of new and how old your printer is.

1. Turn off the power by using the power switch, wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn on the power and wait for the device to initialize.

no worries...it could be your drivers are shot..turn off machine, and let it sit for 10 minutes..unplug from computer, turn on, then tray a test page from front panel

To clear the error, the procedure is as follows:
1. Turn off printer
2. Hold down MENU button on front panel and turn on power while continuing to hold.
3. Release button after 5 seconds (after the Please Wait message)
4. If error still occurs:
5. Press 91
6. If error still occurs:
7. Press 99

This should clear the error.

Have you tried to install under "safe mode"?

Try to run the ink pad reset utility software.
Please log on to epson.com. The software runs on win xp and win vista.
