You will need some sort of tool for a pin pusher to actually remove the pin from watch . It can be a strong needle of some sorts but I suggest getting an actual pin pusher to prevent from damaging the watch or hurting yourself.

if you look inside the watch band itself you will see on the links an arrow pointing one direction. That is the direction you need to push the pin since the pin head is larger and cannot be pushed the opposite direction .

On the side of the watch links you will see a small circle endented with a pin head. That is the link pin. Place your pin pusher or other similar sized object and with a small or jeweler hammer slowly and lightly hit the pin pusher down until pin comes out of opposite side , you can use tweezers or needle nose pliers to pull pin all the way out

There are some pin removers that screw also or just push down to pop pin .

Once out repeat process until you have removed enough links that watch fits comfortably. Then slide pins with head of pin entering the side where the arrow on back of link is pointing to. Once all the way in gently hammer rest of pin till flush with link .

Fossil es2157 replaced battery; but will not restart

you need to Shortcut the battery with AC contact. AC can be found on the sides of watch movement(very tiny). You have to use pointed tweezers: one end on battery+, another on AC contact for three secs.

Battery replaced; but won't restart

Well, if the battery doesn't fix the problem, send it into fossil. They have a great warranty usually 11-13 years. They will probably send you a brand new watch.

How do I set the time on the Stella Tort Glitz watch (ES2795)? I've checked the Fossil website and tried their instructions and they don't work. I have tried moving the hands for the time set in...

Try turning the knob cc and cw a number of times; then pull the knob out hard all the way to pos. 3 and see if this helps. Sometimes it takes a number of times to get it to engage.

How do i take a link out of my stella watch?

mcdevito75 here, Genearlly removeing the bands links are more common with Mens watches but some womans watches also have this option, the links are held together with pins which require a link pin remover tool so these pins don"t get bent. Best Bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your araea and have them remove a link or two, also hold onto these removed links in case you need them again.

I just purchased the Stella 3hand round black/gold, however, no manufacturer's instructions were in the tin the watch arrived in? Can you help? Thanks, Renee

Fossil make these watches but the do not issue instructions for each type of watch they make but they have a list of instructions from which you must choose the one that looks like yours and download the file.

To do this go to http://www.fossil.com/en_US/shop/customer_care/static/fossil-Instructions.html and scroll down the list of diagrams until you find the one you want and click on the file that matches your watch.

I have a Fossil analog / date watch and need to remove a couple of links. The arrows on each link point in opposite directions. I tryed pulling the ends the respective directions to no success

There are some instructions on the Fossil web site but they are not too easy to find.

Go to "fossil.com", go to the bottom of the page and you will see a menu, click on "customer care" and then look under "Product Info" on the left and you will see "watch instructions"

Go down the list to the bottom and under "Phillipe Stark" there is an item "bracelet instructions".
