I have an F32650 and it wont turn on and also no sound. I also hear this clicking type sound coming from the rear of the TV.It sounds like it's coming from the right right rrrear of the TV.

most common reason is convergence problem--unsolder both chips and see if set will power up with them out of the circuit.

I have a Philips 60" Rear Projection, and all of a sudden I have no picture or sound. I push the power button, and all it does is click. It will keep clicking until I turn it off. Anyone seen this problem?

Replace your Flyback Transfomer.

you have a bad power supply....

the high pitch squeal indicates shorted component/s. the transformer goes hot co'z its being overloaded by the shorted component, it too could be the one creating the squeal!!

if you have experience with electronic troubleshooting, try to test some of the components particularly on the secondary part of the transformer.
Be careful and make sure the TV set is unplugged.
test for shorted diodes and transistors, if you're in doubt of your readings try to desoldering one leg of the diode then proceed with the testing/measuring. replace any of the bad components you find exactly with same part number or replacements with the same rating.

spend more time on it resoldering some other cold soldered components.

Still sounds like the flyback. Rca has had issues throught the years with flybacks failing especially that model.

The green light indicates that it is getting power from the outlet ok.
The clicking is the power relay trying to turn it on but there is an internal fault forcing it to shutdown. You either have a power supply problem, horizontal output transistor (HOT) is shorted or a bad flyback transformer. In any case it can most likely be repaired by a qualified technitian. If it is the flyback it may be expensive.

some electronic components inside your TV had shorted out! you might be hearing a slight CHIRPING! like the sound of crickets! or maybe whining! the sound migth be coming from the transformer/inductor with a shorted component on its output!
