You need to remove the stereo from the dash and make sure the Tel mute wires are not shorting on any metal. tape up any wires that are not connected.

This is directly from the installation manual from pioneer website for model DEH-P6600

(Yellow/black
If you use a cellular telephone, connect it via the
Audio Mute lead on the cellular telephone. If not,
keep the Audio Mute lead free of any connections.)

Basically, you don't hook it up unles you have a cellular telephone in your vehicle, not a personal cell phone.

Pioneer DEH-P580MP radio muted, can not cancel.

there is a short somewhere. check your speaker wire on the stereo to make sure none of them are shorted. also, check the speakers to make sure none of the speakers themselves are short (shorted voice coil). disconnect one speaker at-a-time to find the shorted speaker.

You have to isolate yellow-black cabel. This cabel was in contact with earth and it was the reason, why you have Mute on the display.

to fix this press and hold the source button till unit turns off the source button switches from CD - radio...................once your unit powers off........press and hold the function button down till the clock appears in display you should also hear a beep when this happens.........press the function button repeatedly until the telephone feature appears now switch by pressing the skip button to ATT (Attention) once this is done press the source button to power on the pioneer unit simply turn up the volume and problem should be solved......

Most of the car stereos are 40 to 50 watts output.so they need a stronger fuse than 3A.This kind of radios use 10A fuse.
