In a lot of Technics CD players there's 1 or 2 little black circuit protectors near or around the power supply, these are usually marked CP or IP, for eg. CP208 / IP208.
These look like little transistors but with 2 terminals and these are basically a fuse.
Test these while desoldered from the circuit.
I wouldn't have thought it was a transformer fault as these are generally
very reliable and i've never known one to fail yet.

Yamaha clavinova cvp 7 won't turn om

depending on your level of electrical knowledge it may be possible to diagnose the problem.

First check the obvious - fuse in plug / distribution board - you would be surprised how many times this is missed.

Beyond this proceed at your own risk as mains voltages will be exposed.

If you open up the keyboard you can check the input voltage with a multimeter is arriving at the power transformer input.

There may be fuses on the transformer board - check these - DON'T FORGET TO UNPLUG FROM THE MAINS FIRST

Check the operation of the mains switch - these do fail over a period of time and your instrument is quite old now. Unplug from the board and test for continuity across the pins.DON'T FORGET TO UNPLUG FROM THE MAINS FIRST

If the above doesn't solve the issue then you have a more serious problem such as a power supply board failing or a problem on the main board - seek out a Yamaha service centre who might be able to help.

Scren black.. Very faint outline of the programing can be seen

Hello
The backlight of your TV is OFF. The main reason for this fault is with a defective backligh inverter transformer fitted inside the TV. This inverter supplies sufficant voltage to the back ligh CCFL lamps, and in turn adjust the brightness of your TV. There are mainly two resons for this fault. Either the backlight inverter transformer has damaged or it drive circuit is damaged. You have to check and find the reason. It is dangerous to work with this section, as this backligh inverter generate very high voltage. If you are not familier with this type of repair, get it repaired by any experienced technician. OK.

How to identify the matching transformer terminal by means of terminal resistance? and which terminals is for input or output?

Doing a resistance test on a transformer will not give the information you require as you will read very little, if any resistance. What you need to do is an impedance check and that gets involved. If it is a normally wound transformer, not an auto transformer, you can isolate which is the primary and the secondary windings. Unless the transformer is a multi voltage input unit, the primary side will have continuity through only two terminals. The secondary could be more than two if it is a multi output voltage one. If the transformer is a step down, the primary windings will be the thinner wired windings and vice-versa. To actually test the transformer, get hold of a transformer with about a 20 vac output and try it across the two terminals you have identified as the primary windings, you should ge a proportional voltage of the actual output. eg. with 20 vac input and a 2 vac reading at the secondary, the actual output would be 11 vac if your mains voltage is 110 volts. Take care that you are using the transformer at the voltage it is designed for, otherwise it will overheat and burn out.

Hello I have some movies on my laptop but now I want to wach them on tv on my TV I have only scart-input,experts told me I need a cable with D15 connecting from my laptop to one transformer to my...

Most Laptops use S-Video as a way to display video on your TV screen.
You can pick up a S-Video cable at your local Electronics store IE Radio Shack. Before purchasing the cable ensure your TV has the correct input.

The four main types are (in increasing quality):
1. S-Video [2 types: 4Pin as in picture'7Pin]
Port: http://www.coloredhome.com/video/s-video...
Cord: http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/graphic...
2. VGA
Port: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co...
Cord: http://www.thisishowyoudoit.com/blogimag...
3. DVI
Port: http://vocaro.com/trevor/blog/wp-content...
Cord: http://www.tech-faq.com/dvi-hdtv-connect...
4. HDMI - also transfer sound signal
Port: http://media.bestofmicro.com/,2-3-49323-...
Cord: http://www.k1cable.com/images/hdmi_000.j...

All of these do the same thing: The laptop sends the video information through the Port and the Cord. Your TV Recieves that information in its port. Numbers 1 to 3 do not transfer sound, so you will need a separate adapter for your headphone to TV Audio. #4 HDMI transfers both sound and audio data, so you won't need a separate cable for sound.
Check if your TV has corresponding ports. If not, you can buy adapters. This is an example of a VGA to RCA(Red/White/Yellow analog cables) and S-Video
