SOURCE: blurred image on LCD registered when pic is taken

CHECK The memory chip to see if the picture is blurred too.

I think that is over a hundred dollars to repair. call canon and see what they say. but for that much money, you may want to trade up to some newer technologies. many great changes have come true since your model.

SOURCE: pink image

Sounds like they put another defective sensor in your camera. "Pink images" are very indicative of a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should again fix this for you for free worldwide, and may also include free shipping both ways (free shipping varies with countries). This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check this link for more info.
Applicable cameras include: A60, A70, A75, A80, A85, A95, A300, A310, S1 IS, S60, S230, S400, S410, S500, SD100, SD110, IXUS V2/V3/300/400/430/500/II/IIs, IXY Digital 200a/300a/320/400/450/500/30/30a

SOURCE: will my canon ixus 60 take a 16gb memory card

Yes. The IXUS 60 was designed to work with SD cards. Cards larger than 2GB are actually SDHC (the HC stands for High Capacity) and will not work in this camera.

I am unable to download pictures from my canon ixus to my computer

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Can i turn the flash off on my camra and if yes how. I bought the cara off a friend and she the booklet that came with it dont know any thing about this canon 600

To turn the flash off, press the right side of the ring shaped controller on the back of the camera where you see a lightning bolt icon. Each time you press it, you will see an icon pop up for a different option -- Auto (bolt with A), Auto with red eye reduction (icon of an eye), red eye reduction with flash on (eye and lightning bolt), On (just the lightning bolt), and Off (bolt with a "no" circle around it).

You can download the manuals (Basic and Advanced) for the SD600 here. I understand that there is a problem with the downloads that should be repaired within the next couple of days. If you want a manual sooner, you can download the manual for the European version of this camera (IXUS 60) here.

LCD ?? Screen

This can be repaired for $89.95 at darntoothysam.com. The IXUS 60 is the same as the "SD600" which I have linked to you. I wish you luck in getting your cracked LCD taken care of.

Canon ixus 60

The ixus 60 is also known as the SD600. It's actually quite a good camera. It uses the "NB-4L" battery. You'll need a charger for your camera's battery. Simply remove and place the battery in the charger and plug it in the wall. If you don't have a charger, generic ones are very inexpensive (so are the generic replacement batteries):

Canon SD600 Lens error

Press the power button on and hold it down while extending and twisting the telescopic zoom lens. It might fix your problem. In any case it could not make it worse Good luck!
