The videos are SMV files

To add videos to this player you need to use the software Philips provided. It's a bit complicated to use so follow the instructions carefully. The software will convert the videos to a Philips format to enable you to add them to the Video Folder. You can't just add a file as this will not work, it needs to be converted.

The software can be found at

Hope this helps you.

CX7525. Inserted new 4gb sd card. Camera says it needs to be formatted. When I click on the "OK" button to format, it says "card needs to be formatted" again and again. Will not format...

There are no 4GB SD cards. "SD" cards larger than about 2GB are actually SDHC cards. SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but they are slightly different electrically. Many cameras won't work with SDHC (high capacity) cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.

What fromatt does films have to be on the philips go gear

Checked your manufactures page, click the link and then click the little arrow that says video playback
Its looks like you can play wmv(windows media ) and mpeg4
However the page mentions that included in your software is a media converter, which will allows you to convert non compatible media formats to compatible formats

Arc soft say;s im missing a codec flv codec's

Even the newest version of the Arcsoft Media Converter, I have found, doesn't recognize FLV files even if you have an FLV codec. Use a free program called Riva FLV Encoder to convert any FLV files to AVI format first. Then Arcsoft will recognize it.

PHILIPS GO GEAR SA3125/97 MP3 VIDEO DRIVERS

it simply means that you haven't added any mp3 or video files... if ya want the drivers go to the link below....

http://rapidshare.com/files/119939557/klmcodec395.rar

after installing this file, go to your philips media converter and add the videos you wanna convert, and convert it... after that jus copy the converted video files to the "videos" folder in your player....

if you have added any files and still your player doesn't detect it, then make sure you've copied it to the right folder... also check if those files are compatible with your player... sa3125/97 supports mp3, wma, n smv media files... n jpeg images...
