This portable dvd player was given to me, he even sent for the wall plug for it...Now I have it and when I turn it on the blue dvd screen does not come on.What come on are large green lines up and down the screen...The dvd will play but behind this mess..when I click the menu, set up, program buttons they will not be readable because of the green fat lines up and down the screen...I cleaned i twice and I changed thebatteries on the remote...it kind of looks like it needs tracking to read the menu and what ever comes up to read....right now it is just there with those big green lines...please help me.....thankz

This thing is garbage now sorry, can't be fix.The LCD screen viewing panel is damage by force, like dropping the unit or sometings or somebodies hitting it hard on the LCD viewing screen. The LCD viewing screen panel, will cost the same as a new portable DVD player. This LCD viewing screen panel, must be replaced to solved the problems. The whole new portable DVD player only cost like about 50-60 bucks.

Is there any other way to charge my onn portable dvd player

You don't have to rely only on the original charger for your onn portable DVD player. You can charge it using other methods: * **Power bank:** Charge your player while you're out and about using a portable power bank. * **Car charger:** Keep your player powered even on long road trips with a car charger. * **Universal AC adapter:** Plug your player into a wall outlet with a universal AC adapter that's compatible with your device. These options give you flexibility and convenience, allowing you to charge your portable DVD player in different settings.

Portable DVD player has blank screen when turned on

I don't think it is worth the money to repair dvd players. Unless it is an expensive kind. If it is a little over a hundred bucks it is not worth it. Since the technician will charge you about it's worth or even more. Before assuming it has a problem, check the connections. Try changing the wires that is connected to the back. Also make sure that the television is selected to it's right input, AV1 AV2 AV3 HDMI etc.

Mintek DVD Portable

I had this problem. You need to reset your dvd player. To do this: For the reset, the unit should be on Wall power only, with the battery removed. You set the LINE SELECt (on the side next to the VIDEO plug) device to IN, turn the unit on, after 20 seconds switch it back to OUT.
