My daughters camera wont turn on. makes a strange beeping sound 3 times then shuts down screen stays black

    my camera makes 3 odd beeps and the green light flickers as i try to turn it on or off and its stuck in one position

    My camera is brnd new and after i took a few pictures it just got stuck and turned off the lens are still out and when i turn it on it just beeps and turns back off? can some one please help?

    I have this exact camera and I'm experiencing this same problem!



    My camera beeps twice, the light goes on and then turns off immediately. The screen stays black.



    I've replaced the batteries with brand new alkaline and lithium ones, but the camera still won't work. If anyone has any tips on how to fix this problem, please post! It will be most appreciated!

    same problem, have changed batteries, still doesn't work. Wasn't dropped.

I've noticed that some cameras are very picky to what batteries they will work on. I have a kodak 713 that will work on nothing but the energizer lithium as well as a garmin handheld gps, neither will stay on with regular batteries. I would check to see if a stronger battery may work better.

I just bought a new laptop Vista computer and I can not get it to read my Polaroid i735 camera when plugging the USB port in.
I know this sounds ridiculous but you have to turn the camera on.... I often have the same problem because I forget to turn it on when it's plugged in.

I Have The Same Exact Camera As You And Have lost of Experience With Digital Cameras I'm Guessing you just need digital camera compatible batteries (Rechargeable) Oh and keep in mind taking a picture requires a lot of energy use

My camarea wont turn on!
There are two types of batteries that are suitable for your camera: Alkaline and NiMH
make sure that your batteries are made for a digital camera these seem to fit a bit differently into the digital camera then standard AA batteries.

but what you are saying is ushally the cause of the batteries and nothing to do with the camera, when the unit does power up make sure in the menu the right battery is selected for the camera as well.

Camera issues:(
I had the same problem, stuck lens, 3 beeps and shutdown. You must get pissed off at the camera first. Then bite the lens, clenching it like pliars (you could probably use pliars too), turn the camera on and immediately start pilling on the lens in the outward direction. The tooth grip unstuck the lens and vot it worked. you can take this solution to the bank.

Polaroid i735 Camera won't turn on. Lens stuck.
I had the same problem, and fixed it by wiggling the lens a little, when turning it on.
After a few tries, it finally wiggled free, and the lens retracted.
