How can I change the resolution from 1280 x 800? This is the highest possible according to the display setttings. I have removed the generic pNp monitor. I am running Vista Business. The display adapter is...

Graphics Unable to use the native resolution, such as 1920x1080, 1680x1050 and 1440x900 circuit388.gif Symptom(s):
On some displays, users may be unable to use the native resolution when using Intel® chipset graphics. Resolutions such as 1920x1080, 1680x1050, and 1440x900 are not available in graphics properties.

Cause:
The display's EDID is not read properly when connected to some digital flat panel displays. Display devices describe its capabilities by sending EDID (Extended Display Information Data) to the computer.

Solution:
Intel has released a graphics driver to specifically address this issue; however, there may be side effects to this solution such as longer than normal resume times from standby. This solution will only work with external displays such as DFP displays connected to the computer's VGA port. This driver is not designed to address issues with a notebook's built-in display (Local Flat Panel) or with TV’s connected to the system. This driver is provided as is. Intel has not tested, and does not guarantee, the operation of the driver for this purpose.

How to adjust LCD wide monitor to a higher

This error is typical of an incorrect video driver has been installed.
To check the installed video driver go to Control Panel - Display - Settings tab - Advance button - Adapter tab. This shows the adapter/driver. If it shows VGA graphics card or not the model of your graphics card then you need to download the correct graphic/video driver and install it. You will then able to configure the display at a higher resolution and at the highest color bit (ie 32 bit if there is sufficient video RAM installed).

Biostar GF 7025-M2 v.6.0 Motherboard Drivers For Windows XP Home

yes there are seperate versions for 32bit and 64 bit . check on majorgeeks.com for the drivers, also check cnet downloads for drivers. If the mother board is more than 5yrs old you might not find the 32 bit drivers on the manufacturer's website. also check microsoft , if they have any drivers for that motherboard. good luck
